BIBLIOPHILE: 'Career Novels'

A strange phenomenon from around 1945-1965 was the Career Novels of Mary Dunn, an editor who came up with this series of "Good novels in their own right for fourteen-to-sixteen-year-old girls" which show them what they might face in their future careers.
