BIBLIOPHILE: Literary Duo Team-Up

The bookgeek in me nearly exploded when I found this.

Poe, for whom I have had a long-time fascination, wrote an obscure tale called the Mystery of Arthur Gordon Pym. When publisher Basil Ashmore wanted to reprint it, he found that none other than Jules Verne (yes, him: 20000 Leagues... etc) was such a fan of the original that he had written a sequal which had never even been translated into English.

And here's the result - a collaboration between the living and the dead, and two masters of their art.

BIBLIOPHILE is an irregular series of posts looking at the rare, handsome and plain darn weird world of books.
